I bought this cross for my stepson who doesn't wear a lot of jewelry. With the subtle cross design, it's perfect for him. It is a beautiful cross with the black and gold accents. The center cross design is actually cut out, which I thought was gold from the picture. But is still beautiful. Heavyweight perfect for any man. I purchased this neckalce for my husband. He is no a real jewelry type guy. He really liked this. It is very masculine looking and is heavy duty. This is good because his work requires him to work with corrosive materials. He does not like the lightweight jewelry. The style is modern with a bysantinne look. the black looks great with the stainless steel and gold trim
